Can I send an Excel file?
Yes. Excel and CSV are what we receive most often. Send the list as you have it, as long as each item has a manufacturer's catalogue number or a standard and a quantity. A PDF or the body of an email is fine too.
What don't you quote?
Automotive parts, steel and non-ferrous metals, consumer electronics and IT equipment, fuels, ATEX, medical, aviation and food products, or goods from outside the European Union. We also do not quote parts made to drawings.
How quickly will I get a quote?
Usually within 24–72 hours, because we only give a price once the distributor has confirmed availability. Items available from stock are quoted faster. A quote is valid for 3 working days, or 24 hours for cables, copper and electronics.
Does the price include transport?
Yes. We give one net price including delivery to your address. That is why we need the full delivery address to quote.
How do you make money?
We buy goods on our own account and sell them at a margin. The margin is included in the quoted price: the price you see is the price you pay. Requests and quotes are free of charge.
